Last night I wanted to create a full mosaic of the moon. But after 10 minutes of imaging, there was a very thick fog comming up. I quickly managed to capture another 5 minutes worth of material around the Plato area.

I ended up with this partial mosaic with too much noise in some parts of the image because I wasn't able to capture enough frames.

But still, I don't image the moon very often so it's a good addition to this website.

The image was shot in infrared (using a baader infrared pass filter) at about F/15 (2x orion shorty barlow + extender)
