Jupiter and Io

My best image of Jupiter so far.

I wanted to create a color image using only my b/w Toucam Pro II webcam, but since I don't have any R, G and B filters, I had to improvise a bit.

Infared (> 742nm) was used for the red channel, a Wratten 21 orange filter was used for the green channel, and my Wratten 47 deep blue filter was used for the blue channel. The colors are a bit off (mostly because of the green filter), but at least there are colors visible!

This image is resized to 166% of the original recorded size. Jupiter was at little over 19 degrees altitude.
